From Users (Landlords)
When you submit a service request or create an account, we may collect:

- Service request details (service type, job description, urgency, budget)
From Vendors
When you apply to join the platform, we may collect:

- Phone number
- Business name and website
- Business location and service areas
- Services offered, qualifications, and experience
- Licensing and insurance information
- Portfolio media (photos/videos of past work)
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information solely to:
- Facilitate referrals and introductions between Users and Vendors
- Send service-related communications (e.g., request confirmations, vendor match notifications, follow-ups)
- Process and review vendor applications
- Operate, maintain, and improve the platform
- Respond to support requests
4. Information Sharing
RL does not sell your personal data.
RL does not share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
We share personal information only as necessary to facilitate referrals:
- User contact information (name, phone, email) may be shared with matched Vendors to facilitate a service introduction
- Vendor contact and business information may be shared with Users as part of a referral match
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of RL, our users, or others.
5. Email Communications
By using the platform, you may receive:
- Service-related emails (e.g., referral confirmations, follow-ups, application status updates)
- Informational and educational communications, including newsletters
You may unsubscribe from marketing or newsletter emails at any time using the "unsubscribe" link. Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not affect service-related communications or platform access.
6. SMS/Text Message Communications
Providing a phone number does not by itself enroll you in SMS. If you affirmatively choose a Text/SMS option or check an optional SMS consent box, you consent to receive the message types disclosed at that opt-in from Real Landlording LLC. SMS consent is not a condition of using the platform.
For Users (Landlords)

Message frequency varies based on your activity on the platform. Message and data rates may apply.
Text STOP to any message to opt out of SMS communications. Text HELP for support, or contact us at support@reallandlording.com. Opting out of SMS does not affect email communications or platform access.
Your mobile information and SMS opt-in data or consent will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. We may share this information only with service providers that help us deliver and operate the SMS program, such as messaging platforms and phone carriers.
7. Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the platform and to understand how visitors use it. We group them into two categories:
- Essential cookies — required for sign-in, session management, and core platform functionality. These are always active.
- Analytics cookies — set by PostHog to measure traffic, page views, and feature usage so we can improve the platform. These are only loaded after you click Accept on our cookie banner.
